Four episodes in and damn Rhodey is a Skrull confirmed. Who the fuck can we trust? Nice to get some action at the end of the episode and I hope Talos is okay cause that motherfucker is the MVP. This episode is probably my least favorite though.
I don't know this Week's Episode to me fell flat and I'm not really hype going into the Finale next Week. I personally loved last Week's Episode with the Death of Talos and how in his dying breath he's trying to save our President and the stuff with Fury and his Wife was great too. This Week meh nothing really stood out to me but I did like Gravik's followers trying to take him out because they are seeing he's too much a lose cannon to be left alive now. If he wasn't suped up he would of died there but his arrogance will be his undoing in the Finale for sure.
So what did everyone think of the Finale of Secret Invasion? I thought it was way too short of a Episode for a Finale but it was pretty solid. Gravik vs G'iah was bound to happen she got her powers but I didn't expect her to be as Fury going into Enemy Lines and confronting him. Gravik was at his best in this Finale sucks I didn't see this from him throughout the Season. G'iah they should of had more flashbacks with her which could of happened with more Episodes showing why she was with Gravik to begin with and more of her being torn on what side to choose. After all the hard work Fury and Company did to save Earth, the Skrulls, the President fucks shit up further causing chaos between the sides. Rhodey is the big thing I wanna talk about he can't walk when he saved which means..
Rhodey has been replaced as Skrull since Civil War so he has no idea of what happened to the Avengers through the Years..OR THE DEATH OF TONY
It was pretty good. This was the best that Gravik has been but it sucks it took the whole series for him to finally get interesting and now he’s dead so yeah. Samuel L Jackson was reliably great as Fury as well.
The series as a whole was weak unfortunately. It was never really able to justify its own existence. A story like this should’ve felt way bigger than it did. I feel like this alone could have been a whole saga. Instead they’re putting it in with a saga that’s supposedly revolving around Kang? That doesn’t make sense to me and further shows that Marvel doesn’t know how to structure their stories anymore. Overall a miss for me.
I have one episode left and this has been a very chatty, bland series so far, the only big action scene was the shooting on the highway and it was visually mediocre (shaky cam + awful CGI)
