Marty Jannetty was among the many wrestling names at last weekend's WrestleSlam UK convention. A Q & A session was held and Jannetty said that nowadays people in WWE are being brought up way too soon and put into positions they're not ready for. Jannetty used Mr Kennedy as an example. Furthermore, Jannetty stated that Shawn Michaels backs up his claim on Kennedy whenever the two talk.

Now that is very interesting. First of Kennedy was reported as being very close with Stone Cold a while back and was said to be listening to too many people when it came to using a finisher and basically overall work. Personally though Kennedy really has never been pushed because with the injury and the suspension he never got the push he had deserved. Personally I think that the time has come for Kennedy to put up or shut up. I think he's ready, I really like Kennedy. I think he came out looking really good in the HBK feud, even though he technically lost that feud. I think he got great heel heat in his promos with Flair and I'm interested to see if that continues to WM or if it ends at NWO. I think if Kennedy does well in whatever they do with him at WM it's time to put him in the title picture, either on Raw or SD!.

I wouldn't call it a diss rather then an honest opinion. The guy has pratically been given his career to him since his debut. He had feuds with the likes of Batista, Undertaker and Kane (I think) before he even got his feet wet in the WWE. Was gaven the US title on a silver platter which did nothing for him.

He then must of been deemed to big for the US title because he lost it a month later. Then continued on with high profile feuds before winning MITB.

But all that got derailed by an injury and Kennedy hasn't been the same since he's been better. He's not as green, has a moveset and he can somewhat work a match and wow-he actually has a finisher that's lasted more then two weeks!

Kennedy needed that derailment to get him off the main event scene so when he is ready to come in it (not yet, he's still too green but they seem to be preparing him for the future.) He can make an actual impact in the main event scene. He doesn't seem to be slowing down with the high profile feuds though which i hope means only the positive for his career. Before his main event push he should actually win a feud descisevly, which he will do one of these days.
