A key middleweight tilt in the UFC has been confirmed by Ariel Helwani on “UFC Tonightâ€￾ Tuesday evening.

Mark Munoz and Chris Weidman have been signed to face off in the main event of UFC on FUEL TV 4 on July 11. A location is yet to be determined.


Munoz will be returning from surgery to clean up several bone fragments in his elbow. The surgery knocked him out of a planned No. 1 contender match with Chael Sonnen earlier this year.


Weidman has won all four of his UFC fights, including a decision victory over Demian Maia.


A planned Jon Fitch-Aaron Simpson fight is also expected for the event.

Munoz has this, and i thought that the Jon Fitch fight was going to be at UFC 149 but i guess not.
