WWE star Mark Henry announced via his Twitter page that he will be undergoing surgery on Tuesday. "When I return I will be the fire breathing, pain inflicting, face melting better than ever Mark Henry," he wrote.

Pro Wrestling Dot Net, although there's no real source needed for a Twitter post.

Hope he gets better soon (and stays better), Smackdown could really use him. But it would be really nice if WWE would actually tell us this shit.

I love the guy, but he should probably retire. He is old and never healthy. Unfortunate, but I'd hate to see him get some sort of catastrophic injury sticking around to be an irrelevant part of a terrible product.

as far as his injury goes, this is a good setup for a comeback to make his return as a dominant heel.

Yeah, but Mark Henry. He's a big guy so he shouldn't be hurt that easily. While scrawny guys (compared to Mark Henry) like Punk and Bryan do way more and are fine. Every since his rivalry with Big Show ended he hasn't done much other than be a brick wall and hit people and fall down once or twice some feet down the mat in a 15 minute match. He's the last guy you'd expect to be injured, then BAM they hit you with the news of his injury.
