Man I really hope HBK is not hurt yet, again! Although if he is - this is somewhat a hit on WWE because he's been needing surgery for the longest. I really was hoping and thought he would have like a lil' smirk on his face after beaitng Batista and walk off like nothing was wrong as if to say - I tricked you lol. But that's not the case - he really looked hurt. Or.. maybe this could be something to set up a Jericho & HBK feud - maybe Jericho will attack Shawn's leg or something, who knows - just hoping my idol and favorite wrestler of All Time isn't gonna be put on the shelves.

I think he was selling.

Notice how Jericho tried to keep Batista away because HBK was hurt, then HBK hit SCM out of nowhere. That was the ending. Batista will come out tonight and talk about how he had HBK beat, but Jericho cost him the match.

I'm pretty sure Shawn was just doing a damn good job of selling the knee.

Yeah it kinda reminds me of WM23 from at the part where he used the SCM on Cena which was scripted as well afaik. BTW, was the rib injury that hbk got from the table during WM24 fake or real?

Michaels was just selling his injury pretty good, it wasn't a 'real' injury because he hit the Sweet Chin Music in a good way out of nowhere. They might be building a Jericho/Batista feud sometime.

Eh, probably just selling it well. It is possible that it was bothering him a bit though, it's no secret he's got bad wheels.

Speaking off knees how many fucking times have we seen Jericho legit jam his knee over the past month or so... he makes me fuckin nervious..lol.

I personally don't like when HBK "sells" because a lot of the time, he oversells and looks like an idiot (watch his match vs. Hogan at Summer Slam. Prime example)

It's been said that HBK overselled Hogan on purpose.. it's all over the net. They had problems backstage weeks prior to the match. I think u could kinda see it during the match when HBK literally slapped him twice. Newayz, HBK overselled Hogan to make him look like a fool. HBKs bumping, jumping, flipping and flopping all over the arena was just frustration in dealing with Hogan backstage and his way of getting back at him. Hogan refused to put Shawn over, despite Shawn being a full-time main-eventer in WWE and Hogan was just doing a one-time match. WWE then tried to book a re-match with them in a cage at Unforgiven, so Hogan could win one match and Michaels could win the other. Hogan agreed to the match, but insisted that he win both times. At that point, Michaels threw up his hands and thought "screw it."

LOL if you didn't know that HBK was intentionally over selling in the Hogan match. There's an absolutely hilarious video on youtube that shows all the different times HBK oversells in that match.

Anyway it doesn't appear that HBK is really hurt because they wouldn't drag him out there tonight without crutches the way they did. Looks like the Batista-HBK feud is over already and they're turning it into a Jericho-HBK feud. I'm actually very confused overall with what is going on with this one. Quite honestly I was expecting big things from the Backlash match and it didn't deliver and overall the feud has just not been as good as I expected after the way it started. I hope things get better because for the first time ever I'm disapointed in an HBK match/feud.

i agree with the first statement lol. DUH HBK overselled it.. and it was obviously on purpose. Newayz Im not dissapointed with the outcome. I knew that it was going to lead to HBK and Jericho. Im glad Batista is out the mix now - he can go back to suckin on Smackdown or sumthin lol. Jericho has always been a little "geek" type so its funny to see him back to playing the character he perfects best. I think he's enjoying it too. Im not too fond of a babyface Jericho - unless he's talking about Stephanie McMahon haha.

Oh and Im just glad HBK isnt really hurt! His knee will definately be a target for Jericho though. I know it!

I think it is gonna be a Y2J/Batista fued, during the match it was obvious that having Y2J as the referee was in hbk's advantage so I kinda expect Batista to start a fued based on the fact that he feels being screwed by Y2J.

Shawn Michaels is the best at selling and yes he would of been selling. He probably wouldn't be on tonight and they would probably announce it as well imo. Because if he did get injured again, I think he would probably retire.
