LOS ANGELES -- A man was arrested in Hollywood after he ran more than a mile on an underground Metro Red Line track, police said.
The incident was reported just after 4 p.m.
Authorities say the man did not want to wait for the next train, so he ran along the tracks from the station at Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street to the next station at Hollywood and Western Avenue.
The man was arrested by waiting officers. He could face trespassing charges, police said.
The incident delayed the Red Line about 15 minutes.
