If TNA can sign former MMA fighter Bob Sapp, the plan is to have him feud with Kurt Angle first and then Samoa Joe.

- For fans in Canada, the "CD Plus" stores have the new TNA Meltdown CD in stock.

- There is talk of replacing Tomko with Robert Roode if Tomko can't make this Sunday's Turning Point pay-per-view because of his injury he suffered in Japan. Tomko is set to team with Angle and Styles to take on Samoa Joe, Hall and Nash.

- WWE ran a house show on Sunday at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, SC where TNA will hold the Against All Odds 2008 pay-per-view. The WWE event drew less than 1,500 fans overall in the 12,000 seat venue. This can't be a good sign for TNA as they have far less exposure and charge a lot more for PPV tickets than WWE does for a house show.

Why in hell does Robert Roode replacing Tomko makes any sense?

As for the venue thing, this might be just the ocassion for TNA to show that they can draw more than WWE in certain places...or to see a PPV completely empty.

Daniels should really replace him (he's not doing anything) and get into the main event for another Team Angle like appearance where you have 3 great atlethes/wrestlers in one stable and a heel manager/valet, but whatever. Tomko's place should be with Christian as a tweener/face.

Probably b/c they teamed up a few times a few months ago and was actually part of the coalition for a few weeks. Just stop asking stupid questions if you dont watch or pay attention to the product.

If they dont get more than 1,500 for Against All Odds, I will have in my sig for a month: TNA Sucks, WWE Rules.

Wait, why did I even just say that. There was no need, cuz they wil beat that attendence. And then you all will say, "Well, it was just a house show"

Boo fucking Hoo

^^agreed with pretty much everything you said. Did not Roode help Cage beat Joe in the Fight for the Right match? Seems to make perfect scense to me.

If TNA doesn't get more then 1500 for a PPV as Peep said, then yeah there is something wrong. Yeah it is more of a WWE territory, but TNA has quite a few months now to build that up. People are willing to pay more to see a PPV or a TV Taping then a house show no matter what company it is. Many WWE Houseshows do poor numbers. Greenville SC, is not exactly starved for Wrestling. So a house show ranks low on priorty events to goto I'm sure. Here in Hamilton they do well for almost every show they do here regaurdless of it being TV, PPV or House shows, because we get maybe 1 event every 4 or 5 years here. We are just a tad more starved for live Big time wrestling....I would be intrested to see how TNA would do for any type of event here in Hamilton at Copps.

That would be embarising if they had a small crowd at a PPV.

It still makes no sense. The point of the match was having the Angle Coalition. Roode helping Christian Cage doesn't even matter. It would be like if there was a DX vs any team and HBK got injured, and because I don't know, CM Punk teamed with Triple H because they once teamed. As for the match, they can substitute Tomko with anyone, but don't act as it would make storyline sense

Well, you just said it. CM Punk teaming w/ Trips wouldnt make much sense, but it might be their best option. Punk has never been w/ DX, so that's the problem. Roode HAS been with the Coalition. It makes sense to me. But w/e

As far as the house show thing is concerned I don't think that will affect TNA's PPV at all. Obviously more people want to see a PPV than a house show. Now if the WWE had a PPV and it only drew 1,500 people in SC and a TNA PPV sold the same place out then I would be impressed. Actually if they just outsold Raw at the same place I would be impressed, but a house show is not even remotely the same. Also this was Thanksgiving weekend and could have something to do with the low attendance.

Your comparison is Punk who hasn't teamed with DX since the 06 Survivor Series vs. Roode who has been allied with Angle/Christians guys as recent as like a month ago. Your also not taking into consideration that its simply a case of they have an injury and are told to find a replacement. It helps build on as Joe would no doubt want to get his hands on Roode since he cost him his shot at the title. This adds another element to the main event. The part that never made scense to me about this match to me was that Joe would be teaming with the Outsiders.

If TNA is smart (I assume the match hasn't been officially announced on TV or the Web Site), they should have Cornette announce that he was planning to make it Angle, Tomko & Styles vs. Nash, Hall and a parter of there choice. (tease Booker or Sting), but with Tomko injured Angle & Styles will have to find a new partner. Angle & Styles should announce Roode, build it up as Roode was the guy who took out Joe or something, then have Hall & Nash announce Joe as there partner. It would probably work better that way.

The AAO should kick major WWE booty. My best guess is that they will get over 1,500. But in a way, that doesn't mean anything. If WWE had a PPV there, and not a silly house show, they may have got higher than 1,500.

I think TNA will draw more than the WWE houseshow. If they do, it will be a major accomlishment for them and they should be proud. I agree with Peepshow and This guy about Roode, he makes perfect sense since he DID help Christian beat Joe on iMPACT! a few weeks ago, and a couple monthes ago he was with Team Cage

Yeah Roode has been involved with Samoa Joe latley anyway...it makes perfect sense....also Roode deservves to be in the main event 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Times more than Fucking Tomko....Roode should actually be in the title picture soon
