Major Heel On ECW? Bring A New Character In?

After watching ECW i've noticed one thing, there are no Major heels on ecw. yeh sure, John Morrison, Miz, Shelton and Elijah are all heels but not very good ones. Kane and CM Punk are the two who get most time and they are both face's. With ECW not gaining anymore viewers i think the simple key is add some more heels. Maybe take a new character, maybe a monster character who likes to cut himself or opponents to spice the scene up. Hey its different. And i would have prefered Colin Delaney to be a heel instead. Maybe he turns heel after having enough of being beaten up instead of losing every week. I'm not saying he should be champion, maybe a heel who could have a good feud, but he would have to work on mic efforts and his in ring ability. So if ECW Do bring in a new Character to be a heel, not saying they will but if they do what should it be like?

I have to disagree with alot here..

First off, you talked about how you want delaney as a heel? LMAO, thats the same as a morisson level heel. Delaney doesnt strike ANY FEAR, into ANY ONE.... Plus, hes a classic underdog face...

Secondly, honestly, do you think bringing in a heel would save ecw? If they bring in a monster heel such a Henry or something, that doesnt get any more viewers, noone wants to see that. And if they bring in a heel, not a monster but just a cocky heel (which they already have in morrison) but if they brought in like MVP or someone, that wont get more viewers either. People arent going to watch a shitty show for one guy. Honestly, ECW sucks (the new ECW)
Again, a monster heel wont make any difference cause people dont wanna watch them, and a cocky heel wont either because people still wont watch ecw for mvp, just like how hes on smackdown but that doesnt better their ratings...

And thirdly, I doubt any top heel would actually go to ECW. Itd have to be a main event heel, but noone (the wwe and the wrestler) would agree to do it.

John Morrison is a great heel and so is Shelton and Miz. All cocky, cheat to win, heelish wrestlers, maybe not Elijah.

Anyway onto your topic, this is a pointless thread. ECW have alot of decent heels if they want turn Kane heel but i think there is not gonna be much chance of Edge, MVP Randy Orton or JBL going there so there is the three heels out of the picture. But Colin Delaney will not turn heel, he is a great face. There is always the chance of sending Vladimir Kozlov to ECW and make him a heel. That could be a good way to give him a push. But they have Big Titty V, oh wait he has neumonia.

I think you are very right. There are two keys to any story, a great protagonist and a great antagonist. There is no really big guy on ECW to hate, but thats because it really isnt given the same creedence as the other show.

Dude, part of your first questionw as "would it help bring more viewers" and I still say no. because again, a monster heel doesnt get viewers. A big name heel could, but you arent going to be able to get a big name heel to ecw. So you could bring over just another mid card heel if you wanted, but that wouldnt get more viewers so itd serve no ppoint. Besides, ECW is already screwed up and has guys not even being used to their full capacity like Elijah Burke, so no need fo r more, people just dont care about ECW.

I think Umaga should come to ECW and become ECW Champion.

He has already done everything on Raw. Coming to ECW would re-align him with Estrada, and would start some good feuds with Kane, CM Punk, and Tommy Dreamer. Umaga is one of the best bigs in the business and I think the ECW Championship would look good in his...mouth?

Anywayu onto the topic I sort of agree with the answer as if Umaga could goto ECW to help Estrada squash Delaney and also, when was trhe last time Elijah Burke actuallly competed. All the ECW originals except for Tommy Dreamer are and welll that Kind of Destroyed the new ECW right there imo. So send Umaga to ECW and guive him a fresh fyued other then being squashed by Jeff Hardy every week on RAW. Also if anybody remembers his fued with Kane they could start that up again. See all the Heels in the worldm couldn't make ECW better and ECW is probably the only Wrestling Show I watch fully nowadays. So do you think it would change anything I dont think it would.

Miz and Morrison are quite good heels, they sure as hell and liked by the fans by there actions : Chavo and Bam Neely arent to bad either, I think the most dominant heel on ECW would have to be Shelton Benjamen TBH. he has been getting boo'ed alot and by attacking Kofi Kingston that just made him more hated. I don't like Benjamen but then again I don't like ECW lol. I think ECW should either get Kevin Thorn and make him a huge heel or just do nothing at all...

The only thing that can help ECW is make it ECW rules which we all know wont happen but if we need to sign a few people I say sign Rey, Finlay, Umaga they are not doing anything and it might spice things up on ECW give each of them a good title run because Kane is getting stale no one for him to vs and Morrison and Miz are tag division and Elijah and Benjamin are just being used as push overs and we all know that Punk is going to cash it in on Smackdown or Raw and leave ECW so ECW is dead unless it signs a few guys that are not being used but still can get good ratings like Finlay, Rey or Umaga and possibly London and Kendrick just to spice things up and possibly after a while get a mid card title for ECW. If you consider the ECW title to not be mid and be a world title but thats IMO.

Personally i believe that they need to do a lot of things to get ECW to become at least a decent Wrestling Program

First, they need to bring back extreme rules for every match

Next, sign people like Mysterio, Umaga and other wrestlers with nothing to do

Bring back ECW Originals

Put the crusierweight title on ECW and use wrestlers such and Yang, Moore, Rey, Helms, Guerrero, Super Crazy and sign Juventud, Psicosis, Tajiri

set a huge rivalry between ECW and the WWE which can start at One night stand and end around Survivor Series

and Make Morrison, Elijah or Benjamin the champion for god sakes

I think it's the complete opposite, they only have 3 Credible Faces on ECW with Kane, Punk and Kofi. Obviously it won't work when your champion is a heel and you're having tag matches with a combo of the 3 every week. And it also would make ECW watchable with a good solid opener or midpoint match.
