M. Bison....Kozlov...

So tonight on ECW we finally saw some character development in Kozlov. He came out looking like M. Bison decked in Russian Army fatigues and cut a promo about how he was trained by the Russian armed forces and he will not stop until he has world domination.
My only question................WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T THEY DO THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE! THAT SHIT WAS GREAT!

From the second I saw Kozlov I was wondering why they gave him such a generic look...no music...plain white tights. And didn't expand upon the Russian aspect. Cold war....KGB....spies.....espionage.....Russian associates. This guy could have been fucking huge.

So...what do you guys think, could they finally get it right with Kozlov over on ECW?

Good point. I haven't seen ECW yet, but have heard it. It's a valid point, and oen I always wondered about. Here's a guy whose Russian, and the fans have no problem booing him, so why not use the Russian Army gimmick? Glad to see they finally did it. I think this could help him actually be interesting (a bit) now, and maybe in like, next years draft, go to Raw or SD and continue to improve. For now though, I suspect he'll dominate ECW, but at least it'll be more interesting.

Meh. Character doesn't mean anything to me if his matches are shit boring. Putting on an army uniform won't make the matches any better, or make the fans give him any attention. It could help, but I don't see it happening.

But as everyone mentioned, the most noticeable thing about this is that they should have brought this gimmick since debut instead.

I love how they say he's Russian when he's actually from the Ukraine. Still, they can package him however the hell they want, he still gives boring a new definition. Even Shawn Michaels couldn't make him look good, I think that says it all.
