While Jon Jones has continuously ran through the UFC's Light Heavyweight Division with ease, many believe that it is next to impossiple to dethrone such a dominant superstar. That is not to say the least for Lyoto Machida who happens to be the only man to steal a round from Bones.

While training for his upcoming fight with Phil Davis which takes place this Saturday at the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janiero, The Dragon took time to sit down with BJPenn.com and give his thoughts on who he believes will be the one to beat Jon Jones. His answer - another fast rising star at 205, Glover Teixeira.

"I think Glover." said Machida when asked between him and current challenger Alexander Gustaffson. "He's got great technique, he’s a very strong guy. He’s training to fight and he can beat Jon Jones one day. He’s good. He’s difficult to take him down, he defends all the time, he defends any technique, and good cardio too. I think Glover can beat Jon Jones."

Machida takes on Phil Davis this Saturday from his home country of Brazil in a fight that will more than likely gain him the title shot that he's been promised many, many times again where as Teixeira is currently slated to face Ryan Bader when UFC on Fox Sports 1 comes to Brazil. As for Bones, he currently has his hands full when he takes on Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 165 in Toronto.

In all honesty I agree with Machida, Glover is the man to beat Jon Jones. If he can pressure Jones with his smash mouth style fighting and put Jones on his back I could easily see him winning that fight. That's easier said than done of course as nobody has been able to get inside Jones' 84.5'' wingspan of a reach.
