World [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, sans-serif][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, sans-serif]Wrestling[/FONT][/FONT] Entertainment released former ECW performer Steve Lewington (AKA DJ Gabriel) yesterday.

Lewington was split from Alicia Fox last April as a result of the 2009 Supplemental Draft, leaving the English grappler to fend for himself. Creative apparently had nothing for him considering he was soon shipped off to developmental.

He never returned to the main roster.
Lewington had been under contract to WWE since April 2006.
There may have a few other releases in developmental yesterday, but they have yet to be confirmed.

Wasn't he the dancer? Honestly can't remember anything about him ring/talk wise besides the dancing.

Yeah he was the dancer from UK. I dont think he ever cut a promo

What he said^. The fact that their both British and TNA usually picks up anybody that WWE releases.
