Both members of Lucha House Party are reportedly unhappy with their lack of opportunities in WWE as of late.

As noted earlier this week, Mas Luchas reported that Gran Metalik has requested his WWE release because he’s unhappy with the lack of opportunities. It was noted that Metalik has been unhappy for several months now, and that he wants to continue his career in the United States, Mexico or Japan. It was reported that his current contract expires some time in 2023.

In an update, PWInsider has confirmed the Mas Luchas report, and added that Lince Dorado is also upset for the same reasons.

It was noted that both Dorado and Metalik have been seen at multiple WWE TV tapings waiting to speak with officials due to unhappiness over how they are currently being used.

There is no word on if Dorado has also requested his release.

Dorado and Metalik both began working with WWE in 2016 for the Cruiserweight Classic. Dorado signed a WWE contract in July 2016, while Metalik then signed with the company in 2017. Lucha House Party lost to Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo on last week’s WWE Main Event episode, and lost to The New Day in a Tag Team Turmoil match on the September 6 RAW.

Stay tuned for updates.

Yeah he might as well ask for his Release WWE doesn't have any future plans for him. They'll put him on the Card here and there but it's not like he's going to move up in the World with them and I've been saying that for any Hispanic Wrestler consistenly that WWE doesn't know the Culture you can see that everytime WWE has one they try to make them look like a goof or they just string them together hoping that is good enough for them.

He's Puerto Rican.....there's already a major hurdle he has just off Latino bias.

A Chicano is not going to cheer for a Rican just because they speak the same language, there's alot racism in certain groups that hare somehow lumped together by the census.

It's like expecting Japanese to cheer for a Chinese because.....reasons.

Alot of people don't about or talk about enough racism within their own Culture for sure. Like me I'm Puerto Rican and when I was younger I was asked where are you from and I would say it and people would say to me welp if you ain't born from Puerto Rico you aren't Puerto Rican at least in theirs eyes. You need to carry yourself this way if not you get a look like were acting like Gringos(White people). We come in in all shades but it felt like the older crowd I dealt with over the Years looked down on the ones who had it a little bit better and instead of becoming a statistic in their lives made something of themselves becoming jealous I imagine. I do wish WWE especially would get educated on such things about the Latino/Hispanic Culture so they truly understand what we are fighting for not just in Wrestling but in life in general.

I appreciate you telling us about the struggle, I too suffer from the same in First Nation society. We are not a monolith, and using demos is just condescending if you break it down to its core.

WWE and ALL of entertainment need to learn there's different cultures within the demos they dictate and we're all not monoliths....It's honestly insulting.

They're pushing Damien Priest, whatchoo talking about.

However, I agree with EVERYTHING you said.

THAT is different. Japan and China HATE each other. HATE.

Because they had a war against each other. There was a war. A literal war.

Let Lince out of his contract and let him flourish someplace else. Clearly the guy is not happy to be there and honestly I can't blame him. Not being used much, when he does, he usually loses in tag matches. Let him go back to his promotions. Win win for everyone.

He will just be a journeyman who takes more L's than W's.

Let his ass go, he has done nothing to prove he should even get opportunities.
