It would appear that World Wrestling Entertainment is looking to replace Lilian Garcia as the ring announcer of Monday Night Raw. The following was issued to talent agencies today:

WWE Announcer/Singer / Female / All Ethnicities / 20 - 30

Description: WWE is looking for a young, attractive female to sing the national anthem and be our regular ring announcer every week, for one of our most popular TV shows (WWE is estimated to be seen in 500,000,000 households in 150 countries/30 languages)...

This is a breakout job for any young singer. Please specify on submissions if anyone has appeared on American Idol, making the Band or any show of this comparison.

she said that kofi was the intercontinental champion last monday... but i still wouldent let go of her shes been there for a long time not unless if she requested it.

Nah, Justin Roberts is way better than Lillian, she's obviously Jaded from the crap she has had to watch every week for what? 10 years? On SD he is a lot smoother and a lot more enthusiastic.

They could just be looking for an announcer to do superstar only matches and it's possible it's just ECW or something too.

They could be hiring a separate announcer for WWE Superstars, or just ECW and want a woman. Doesn't point towards Lilian.

Exactly. I don't know why they are assuming it is to substitute Lillian. Like I said, they might be wanting to give Tony Chimel a break. The National Anthem deal might be because SD and ECW tour together and I doubt Justin Roberts would sing.

It says on one of WWE's most popular shows (so either Raw or SD) which is watched by almost 5 million people (which leads me to believe Raw). Even if it was for SD, that would mean Justin Roberts would move to Raw, and Lilian would be gone.
