This also is applicable to the WWE section but I prefer to stick around here.

Without the technical crew, watching wrestling on tv would go back 30 years. Filming an entrance a particular way. The closing, tracking camera on Sting or the Kurt Angle steady entrance, it all comes together nicely. Even TNA's modest pyro requires meticulous planning. When all is well we hardly notice. It's business as usual right. Well, we all laugh our asses off when the pyro isn't timed or doesn't work at all.

A properly lighted entrance enhances the mood. If Abyss had green lights we might say what the fuck? Of course red is perfect but how it's done impresses me.

Anyone else care to express their gratitude to the "offensive line" of pro wrestling?

the thing about tna's entrance screens are that they are all basically the same. these thing are what gives wrestling that real entertaing feel

Well I'm studying the media industry, and I know how tough it is to hold that camera for so long, and the camerman, editor have to take alot of credit. But I still think TNA's crew can improve. They make alot of mistakes, especially for a taped show. Compared to Raw, it's live and none of us really notices, but the cameras rarely shake, and they cover up by changing angles well. They're probably the best live filming crew there is right now in the entire media industry.

Yeah I understand a lot of people take the piss when technical crew make a blunder but I don't agree that the technical crew are overlooked. The spotlight isn't supposed to be on them as it is "wrestling" and they know that they aren't going to be thanked for their job, they just do it anyway and I don't think half of them are that bothered but oh well, I understand your point.

^^The spotlight is never on them nor should it be. My point is to acknowledge their existence.

TNA's camera crew suck so bad, they fucked up the AJ Styles fall off the top of the cage at Lockdown!!! lol, seriously though..they are ok but their is always room for improvement. I like the overhead view in the iMPACT! Zone. Am I the only one who loves how the TNA entrances look? I think they are great and I actually think the iMPACT! Zone looks awsome and suits TNA well...

I know, people might say "who cares?" but production values CAN effect a wrestling show and TNA's are just fine but as I said, they can be better
