Leyla Hirsh injured at Dark: Elevation tapings

Leyla Hirsch appeared to be injured during a match that took place prior to tonight’s AEW Dynamite event.

Hirsch was facing a local competitor when she appeared to injure her knee on a somersault flip out of the corner during a match that was taped for AEW Dark: Elevation. She landed feet first and went down as soon as she landed, grabbing her knee. The match was immediately stopped and Hirsch was helped to the back.

In recent weeks, Hirsch has undergone a character change, turning her back on former friends Kris Statlander and Red Velvet after attacking them with a steel chair backstage. She defeated Statlander at the AEW Revolution Buy-In pre-show last March after using a weapon. On the March 23 edition of Dynamite, she defeated Red Velvet in a singles match.

Her most recent match aired on the March 30 edition of Elevation, where she defeated Ella Envy.
