Well, this fight has certainly changed from what it originally was. Josh Grispi was going to face Matt Grice at UFC 136. Grispi got hurt, so in stepped Nam Phan. Now Grice is out with an injury, and Leonard Garcia stepped up to face Phan in a rematch of their highly controversial fight at The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale. UFC.com, paging UFC.com:

Matt Grice is out of his scheduled UFC bout on October 8th with Nam Phan due to injury, but Leonard Garcia has quickly stepped in to fill the spot and verbal agreements are in place, confirmed UFC president Dana White today.

Garcia and Phan previously battled to what many considered the most controversial decision of 2010, with Garcia taking home the W at the TUF 12 Finale last December. Their first rematch was postponed due to Phan's injury. Now, they will finally meet once again to settle the score.

To all the world, it looked like Phan had handily taken home a decision win in that fight, but the judges believed differently and Garcia had his hand raised. Dana White was so annoyed, he ended up giving Phan his win bonus anyway. This will give Phan his shot at justice, and Garcia will be out to prove that the first win was no fluke or miscarriage of justice. And Garcia gets to fight in his home state of Texas for the third time in the UFC/WEC on October 8th in Houston.
