Didn't we do a cartoon theme recently?

Eh... I just feel the themes are repetitive at times but hey, I'll be posting my GFX work

I agree. Maybe we should do at least one freestyle a month. The themes are a nice addition but every week its probably a bit limiting for the beginners. I, for one, tend to do my best work when I get to do whatever the hell I want.

We recently had one with Marvel/Superheroes which is pretty much cartoons as well.

Change the theme.

This theme is much more expansive though, considering the fact that Superheroes involved movies and tv too. Freestyle is coming next week.

We've been trying to accommodate the suggestions over the past month.
Andrew asked to move away from wrestling stuff, so we haven't had a wrestling theme in May.
Defiant mentioned childhood stuff, so I thought cartoons would fit that nicely and still be pretty broad (you could go for Mickey Mouse/Spongebob/Looney Toons/DBZ/etc.). Tons of things that fit the bill and don't fall into stuff we've already done.
Doink asked for soccer, and Derrick mentioned basketball, so we had soccer/basketball last week.
-PHENOM- mentioned he'd like to see a freestyle, and as Andy said, we already slotted that in for PPV2.
Music is being requested a lot, so we're going to do a theme along those lines next month.

If we want more freestyle, I'd be down with doing one/two cards a month freestyle (<--- post your opinions on that issue please), but this theme is going to stay for this week. If you're looking for a particular theme, please post it in the suggestion thread, and we'll happily use it!

Fair enough. Although I was merely tossing a suggestion into that thread with my theme idea, not necessarily demanding it. The themes don't really matter to me.

Also wanted to add that we're going to institute a rule that voters must have at least 250 posts or be active/were active in the GFX league to vote. That way, we can avoid the controversy we had last card haha. Good luck to everyone!
