Both cracking pieces. My vote will go to Chriss however, for the fact I feel he took a risk in having a video game character on a real life background, and it really works well. IT wasn't by much, but it sealed it for me by a whisker.

I've already left comments in both your threads, and I think they're both good pieces. My thoughts:
Chriss: Agreed with Lewb that it was a risk to put a video game character in a real life situation, and I think you really pulled off half of the piece. The right side is amazing. You can tell that you're using a forest background but the added effects creates flow with the render. The left side is just lacking that punch. Personally, not a fan of the font either.
Defiant: Not your best but still good! Not a fan of the text bar, and I think the overall piece is missing something. Regardless, it's right up my alley and very appealing.

My vote goes to Defiant.

I don't really like Defiant's piece just not a fan of how it looks sorry dude.

Chriss JUST gets my vote, and I mean just. Both are solid pieces but it I like the affects on Chriss's a bit more than Defiants, there's a lot more going on and the colours compliment each other well. I like the splatter on Def's piece but I think he overkilled it a little.

I'm going for Chriss here, I like how you pulled it off, the best work I've seen from you imo, you really stepped it up for Defiant, good job!

Both did great job ..but only one have to win so my Vote goes to the underground champ.....his entry kinda batter look than chriss's entry.....chriss kinda made big decision while putting real forest in his piece but it kinda not flows with the render and texts.....and defiant picked up his piece high with splatter and nice texts placement....
