Since this got bumped half way down the page and the battles close tomorrow, I figured I'd bump this to get some votes in here.

Derrick: Left my comments in your thread. Just not a fan of the turn out unfortunately.
Prodigy: This is my favorite type of style. Very smooth but very appealing. Blending is a bit spotty, and it gets a bit too dark in some spots. However, I love it. Really nice work.

My vote goes to Prodigy.

Both of these are fantastic imo, they both have that "capture the moment" atmosphere about them.

I'm voting Prodigy simply because the techniques he used to go about it make his piece easier on the eyes. Good work to Derrick too, but I think it would've looked better had you not put the Drop Shadow on the two renders (the outer glow works though).

Well yeah, it was a bad decision after all to use the drop shadow thing. Also the HBK render deal is that I cut the "handshake moment" out of the picture myself, so I can work with the sole background and I messed up a bit there. I wanted to redo the whole thing, but it was 4am my time so yeah. I'll try to do better next week though. I'm still a GFX rookie after all.

Prodigy gets my vote.

It fits the whole Cena/Punk thing well, the black over the background is nicely done but it's too bright on the right side. Very smooth and good looking after all.

Derrick, the background blur doesn't work for me, its just too...too bland so the renders don't fit with it and the Michaels render is too blury. Sorry bro.

I love how neither of us decided to use texts other than our tags. I really though for this challenge text would ruin the sig lol. Your piece is a good improvement from your past work Derrrick, although the drop shadow kind of ruins things a little I like the effects used and the simplicity.

Yeah, I'm going Prodigy, not a fan of the drop shadow or the blurred background on Derricks and a border would have helped too.
