This is close but I'm voting for Phenom. There wasn't as much done to this as it would seem, but you did all that was necessary and its quite imaginitive. The text is spot on, too. As for Doink, its a strong effort with smoothness and flow. But the lighting overshadowed the render a bit and the text is kinda lazy. Maybe add a couple of gradient maps and another light course to bring out the render.

Doink: Just not your best. Render doesn't flow well. Background is just okay, and the piece is just too dark overall.
-PHENOM-: Knowing that the background was greatly pre-made, I'm obviously going to dock you points, but to be fair, you did play around with the sky and seamlessly added the missiles. Render was worked in really well, and the text is awesome.
Had Doink entered a better piece, he probably would've gotten my vote under these circumstances, but ultimately, my vote goes to -PHENOM-.

Yeah not your best work Doink but it was a strong effort. There isn't much going on outside the render and the piece seems a bit dark. It doesn't really grab me and the font isn't appealing to me but it does sort of work for what you attempted going for. But I'm just not a fan either.

PHENOM has a great piece therefore he gets my vote.
