LayCool 0.2 and 0.3

Is anyone else slightly annoyed by the obvious ripoffs of LayCool that The Bellas and Pin Up Strong have played?

The Bellas were at least decent with their mic delivery, but they ranged from bad to average in the ring. Beth and Natalya to me have been solid in the ring, Beth obviously better with Natalya being off and on like always, but both really make me cringe on the mic. Natalya really is a Hart, she has no idea how to deliver a line, be interesting, or make sense when a microphone is around. Sadly Beth isn't that much better.

Do you blame the divas for not being able to interact with the audience and do commentary well? Do you blame WWE for trying to recreate the success of LayCool in other acts, much like they did with Trish when they started hiring models?

Bellas decent on the mic? The fuck were you listening to when they were doing their Laycool rip off promos it was downright horrible. As far as Beth and Natalya when it comes to their purpose they aren't a laycool rip off but in the latest promos they did with making jokes and all that it was laycool like and I didn't like it at all. I don't think Beth's mic skills have been used the way they should be as she can be solid on the mic.

I blame WWE mostly because if they put more effort into the division and were creative instead of pushing them out there and say go make the crowd care about you doing 3 minute matches, without having much time to get a character for the crowd to care about, and without the company putting much effort into the story. Beth and Natalya's storyline should be the thing that finally sparked change in the division and made it overall better. Have them express the displeasure for how the company views the division and went really deep with this thing to make it probably the best story in WWE's women's division history. But instead they make it as basic as they could have not to mention have them lose too much which sucks a good amount of energy of people possibly caring about it.

Trish and Lita could be in the same position as far as their talents and such go but if not given the chance no matter how hard they work you can't expect the crowd to care much.

I meant in comparison to Beth and Natalya doing they same shtick, they are decent. Hell Hornswoggle is decent on the mic in comparison, especially to Natalya.

They have given PUS a ton of twitter and website plugs. They have even give them time on both shows and commentary. My main problem is that those two just aren't entertaining. Beth can be if she has something like Glameralla or pretends to be Chyna, but Natalya just isn't to me. She can't cut a promo and I have yet to see her be anything but solidly average in the ring in her WWE career.

I'd probably prefer Beth by herself as a one woman wrecking crew, because right now it seems like she is being dragged down and the tandem is worthless.

Compared to anybody those promos the Bellas did stunk. I agree Nattie isn't good on the mic but the Bellas are as bad and worse. Ideally Beth and Kharma would have been the perfect tandem to pull off what they are doing and put a mouthpiece with them but regardless even if they did that it still takes WWE doing it right and it is a shame they haven't and don't.

I think Eve would have been better in Natalya's place because she is aout as interesting as DHS

Than Beth right now? Really not fair to compare though Beth vs Eve at the last PPV is one of the better divas matches lately.

I agree that in recent weeks Beth and Natalya have become more like LayCool and it makes no sense at all. I thought Beth and Natalya were supposed to dislike those like LayCool who look like models yet ever since they started this new team Beth and Natalya keep dressing skimpier and skimpier. In my mind Beth and Natalya turned into what they were supposed to be against. Beth and Natalya shouldn't worry about getting compliments and should focus on wrestling and winning and that is it. It does seem like WWE are a bit repetitive in their booking and make ever heel diva duo very similar.
