Latest Terminator 5 rumours suggest The Rock may be sent back to the 1940s to kill Arnie!

Rumours from an unlikely source, according to WWE Examiner, the reason Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is missing from the line-up Wrestlemania 30 (because we were all clearly wondering), it’s because the Doom and Scorpion King star has signed up to co-star in Terminator 5 with franchise oak Arnold Schwarzenegger.​

The site reports that Johnson will play the film’s “most sinister machine” while Arnie may be playing an all-new human character, saying, “According to the scenario outlined, T5 may be a prequel set in the days of Sarah Connor’s parents, marking the first time terminators have been sent back in time to kill a character that existed before both John and Sarah Connor.​

“Incredibly, Schwarzenegger may not play the role of a machine in the next film, but a potentially heroic human figure in or close to the Connor family. One theory is that Schwarzenegger’s remarkable ability to protect the Connor family in the 1940s or 1950s with antiquated weaponry by today’s standards ultimately inspired the machines to develop a terminator in his likeness that was eventually sent to 1984 when Sarah Connor was first targeted for termination.”​

Now for people that don't know I AM A HUGE FAN OF TERMINATAR MOVIES! But common that don't need The Rock in this film that got Arnold Schwarzenegger! Arnold Schwarzenegger is the Terminatar without Arnold Schwarzenegger there is no Terminatar. Rock is not need in this film. And why are that back tracking!? Why not continue were that left off from the 4 one? That should show how Kyle Reese go back in time since that would it was leading to at the end of the 4 one. Arnold as a human? he is the Terminatar. though he has said that he is still going to be a Terminatar so maybe there still change that will do a continue of were that left off from 4. Yep, Rocky draws better than Da Vinci and even Arnold has some major buzz when reprising a role (remember the hype for him redoing Conan or some shiz?). I understand why they're doing it but personally I say just let this bitch cry and the shit die.

though 2 was the best. 3 was epic and 4 was not as bad as people said it was. I thing 4 when with what the story was. I just wish it had taken place in 2009 rather then 2019.

I also vote for just letting certain franchises die. The Rock vs Schwarzenegger does sound awesome though, and having Schwarzenegger play a human against a Terminator is an interesting twist. Having him part of the Connor family would be Blue, of course, since surely Sarah Connor would have seen pictures of him. I really hope there's a good excuse for why the Connor family would be in danger in the 40's and 50's too, because as I recall, John Connor simply grew up to be the general or whoever who lead the charge against the robots/cyborgs in the future but clearly he didn't have it passed down from his parents because his mother was just living a normal boring life in the first film.

This isnt the reason Rock would miss Mania. Rock was injured at Mania and said multiple times it may have been his last match. I highly doubt he would miss the 3oth anniversary of Wrestlemania for terminator and if he did go to do this he would get days off to build up hype I would assume. Plus I really really wouldnt trust an unlikely source.

2 was the best no question about that. but 3 was fuckin great. and 4 was not as bad as people thing it was, just b/c Arnold Schwarzenegger was not in 4 does not mean it was bad which is what i alway heard from people. 4 was about John C. and i though that did a good job answer some unanswer question that 1-3 movie never told us. So like I said before all of 4 of the movie were EPIC!
