- It appears that Mick Foley's storyline "firing" on Impact Wrestling is his exit from TNA. Foley's deal expires in September but internally, it's considered that he's pretty much done and won't be back. There has been some frustration from both sides about their relationship for a while.

- The latest on Mick Foley possibly leaving TNA is that he requested his release from the company. Foley has not officially been released but it's expected to be confirmed soon.
Which begs the question, why bring him back for a month or however long it was?

He has had such an odd run.

Constantly turning heel/face, showing up and working for a few months and then leaving, winning the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, winning the Global Championship - It's just, strange. I've never been a big fan of the guy, but he could be a pretty good candidate for the Raw GM if he ends back up in WWE.

Only thing that makes sense to me is that they didn't bring him back with the intent of him leaving soon after but Foley wanted out. Seems like it hit him the same way it hit Nash that the company really is going anywhere and is too small for their liking. I see him going back to WWE in some way.

Foley confirms some stuff himself.

Mick Foley took to Twitter to comment on an online report indicating that TNA Wrestling officials perceived him as being difficult to work with.

Foley wrote, "I pushed hard for changes I felt would benefit Impact Wrestling. I can understand how some would interpret that as difficult to work with."

He did not deny reports that he asked for his release from the organization.

I'm sure we'll get Hardcore Diaries 2, where all he does is moan about the fact nobody listened to his ideas.

Cornette from what I remember said he tried to do the same before he quit TNA. But obviously nobody listened to Foley, so he decided to quit too. And i'm sure he'll be back in the WWE soon.

Really wish they would of used Foley better and listened to whatever he was pitching backstage. Didn't care to much for his matches in his time in TNA, but as a announcer or authority figure he would of been good. Imagine that he spoke up about creative, which is something they need.
