TNA officials originally planned for Abyss and Joseph Park to appear in the same segment on last week’s episode of Impact Wrestling.
At one point, plans called for Abyss to come out during the segment where Devon worked over Joseph Park in the ring. There was someone at the taping set to portray Abyss but the plan was dropped at last minute.

Makes sense, since if they planned to reveal Park as Abyss in the end of the story this would be :-ish.

Man, they completely stole last week's main event from TLC 2011, Triple H vs Kevin Nash in the first ever "LADDER HAMMER!"
