I disagree 100% I thought these two did not have any chemistry. I liked the matchup, and think they could do better. I like the face vs face matchup, but Lashley didnt really do anything good. The counters lashley did were awful looking. The finish was weak. The only highlights in the match was beniot locking on sharpshooter and Crossface, but lashely didnt sell. I would give that match a 2.5/5 at the best. Mainly due to "big time" matchup. I dont think lashley stepped up at all, and the fans were clearly behind beniot.

It was an entertaining match, I thought Lashley showed some of his actual wrestling skills, but like Montana said, they were not on the same page at all.

Its not suprising the fans were behimd Benoit though, he been around forever. I did like the quickness in which Benoit would have Lashley on the ground, and Lashely turned it into a slam, not a slow exegerrated hold him forever thing, but quick and powerful. The counters is what needed to be worked on, still enjoyable though.

I did enjoy the match, but seeing as Lashley is a former NCAA Champion (or something like that), he couldn't hang with Benoit at all and his technique was very poor, with his only real offense being power moves. Benoit definately made that match for me and it really highlighted Benoit's ability to carry guys to decent matches. It also shows the level of development Lashley needs make.

Yeah... If Benoit can't solidly carry you to a match something is REALLY wrong with your wrestling ability and Lashley going over Benoit clean was kind of dumb.

meh, did not enjoy it one bit. montana said it best. no chemistry at all. lashley still sucks in the ring imo.

does not have the electricity of a champion.

No it really wasnt good. Lashley was sluggish and everytime he tried to shoot around Benoit and mat wrestle him it just looked dumb. It was a very slow paced match, neither seemed to into it, Lashley cant mat wrestle, for him to put on a good match he's got to use an arsenal of suplexes, and the match has to be fast paced. THat match only seemed good due to Benoit, and it seemed like it would be good, and it was also one of Lashleys better matches although thats not saying much.

^^^^That is exactly what type of match Lashely can be good in. Fast pased and power moves. But lets be honest, Lashley was an NCAA champion, and in a real fight would throw out some damn nice moves. Thats whats he has been trained to do, but now he has to fake it. Make it look real, but dont actually do it. Thats like telling a UFC fighter "Ok, dont really hit the guy." All im saying is that it has to be hard to go from actually wrestling to not, it goes aganist everything he has been taught. He definately needs to improve his selling skills tremendously, but i think hes not a bad wrestler, and he can improve. The is hope for him yet.
