Impact Wrestling has not granted Lady Frost her release from the company.

The 37-year-old requested her release from the promotion in June writing, "I have officially asked for my release from @IMPACTWRESTLING I want to thank the incredible fans, staff, and locker room, as well as @ScottDAmore and @gailkimITSME for the opportunities given to me. Thank you for a great experience," on Twitter.

According to a report from Fightful Select, sources within Impact have confirmed that her request has not been granted. Frost has not wrestled for Impact since Multiverse of Matches on April 1. As she is under a pay-per-performance deal with the company, she has not been paid for the months she's been away.

The report continues to say that she informed Impact management she required a medical procedure but was then still booked for the tapings in Dallas over WrestleMania weekend. She then revealed through social media on April 20 that she would undergo "minor surgery" the following month. Frost says Impact then left her in the dark regarding her status while she was away.

Frost has reportedly made it known through multiple avenues that she wants out of the company, including contacting Anthem's President and CEO Leonard Asper. She is believed to have two years left on her deal.

Frost is reported to have said that due to unpaid travel, accommodation, and other expenses, it "effectively was costing her money" to work Impact's television tapings.

Frost posted to social media on Tuesday and alluded to possible issues with Impact.

"If you were in a relationship where someone didn’t care about your physical or mental well-being, and didn’t adequately provide for you financially, would you fight to be free from it?" She wrote, later adding, "This is certainly not about my husband."

read this earlier. Really bad look for Impact to not release someone on exclusive PPA and just telling them they won't get paid. Hoping there was communication breakdown and they fix this because yeah...not a good look at all

Something tells me this is far too much accusation being piled on to be legitimate. There's a different, real story here, and the source of this one is Frost herself or someone closer to her.

I am going to let this play out a bit more to see who really is in the wrong here because it does paint Impact in a bad light, but if Frost kind of pulled a Tessa then it is on her.

Yesterday, PWInsider.com noted that Impact Wrestling star Lady Frost has been fighting to get a release from the company and that she recently sent a letter to Impact and Anthem executives arguing her points and requesting once again, that she be released.

In speaking to several sources at Impact Wrestling last night and today, this is their version of the timeline of events:

*Frost had been booked on all events on a per appearance basis until she informed them she was taking time off for a surgery. She was and is not on an exclusive deal and can wrestle anywhere she wants, except for other nationally televised promotions.

*Whenever she traveled for the company, Impact sources claimed Frost's flights, hotel, etc. were covered. Obviously, whoever holds the receipts for that will have the proof.

*In regard to Frost working in Dallas, that would have been a situation where Frost (like other talents) worked for a number of groups since it was Wrestlemania weekend. Frost did work at least one other event that weekend for Zelo Pro Wrestling and also would have appeared at Wrestlecon. Impact sources state that she informed them she would be in Dallas for the weekend, so she was utilized on the Multiverse of Matches event. Their basic claim is that they did not approach her to book her that weekend, but that she informed them she would be there, so she was included on the event.

*Frost informed the company after healing from her surgery that she was good to go and requested to return around Slammiversary. Impact sources stated that since their TV and PPV plans were already locked in, they intended to work Frost back in as they were able to.

*Shortly after Frost was informed of this, Impact sources claimed that she instead requested a release from the company. One Impact source states that Frost was told she could have a full release after she returned to TV to put over Masha Slamovich as a way to build Masha and write Frost out, the same way others (Tenille Dashwood, Madison Rayne) have also done. Sources stated that Frost was unable to make the suggested TV taping date, so the promotion asked her to let them know when she could make a future taping and do the job.

*Shortly after, Frost went public with her release announcement.

*Impact sources claim that from that point on, they had not heard from Frost until she contacted the company's Human Resources department. Impact's version is that Frost was told to go back to her contact person (we are told Gail Kim) and to have conversations with them,

*Impact had not heard from Frost after that until her letter to Impact and Anthem was received. Impact sources declined to comment on the letter, with one source stating they had not actually seen it, but had heard of its existence.

I was on a Cagematch walk and just noticed something: if she's making out that she's tied down to an exclusive, restrictive deal, why was she on the WrestlePro FITE show Friday?

She says the deal prevents her from wrestling from any other nationally televised promotion.

One of them is lying about travel costs, either Impact covers them or they don't

maybe she didn't fill in her forms proper and didn't get reimbursed yet :p

To your first point: In principle I get why she's annoyed but what televised promotion would want her? unless that counts fite ppvs

NWA I assume is counted bc she stopped appearing on their TV around the time. Both NWA and Impact were taping near where she lives at the time I think and Impact then started traveling more where NWA didnt so I can see the travel being the reason for all this regardless if it's paid or not. But if it turns out she's lying about them not paying travel and just doesn't want to go them fick her lol I doubt PPVs are counted tho
