During an interview with Ring Rust Radio, Angle spoke about the possibility of returning to WWE after he leaves TNA, and he said that there’s a possibility that he may return to WWE if he could set up a meeting with them, and if they offered him the right deal. He also suggested that he would like for his final match to happen at WrestleMania.

“I don’t know [if I’ll return to WWE] to be honest. It all depends on how I feel about the situation. Is there a possibility that there will be a meeting in the future? Yes, I’m not counting it out. I think anybody in pro wrestling wouldn’t mind their last match being at WrestleMania.”

Kurt Angle last appeared at a WrestleMania event in 2006, where he defended and lost his World Heavyweight Championship in a triple-threat match against Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio. So, if he were to take one year off from wrestling and return to WWE in early 2017, it would mark 11 years since his last WrestleMania appearance, which is quite the gap between appearances.

A lot of people are back to assuming he will be coming back again. lol

I read an article about a week or two ago where Kurt stated he'd like to work WM 33. So it'll be up to Vince and Hunter to decide whether they'll finally accept him to come back for one more run or deny him again. Personally, I'd be a-okay with Angle having one more run in the 'E, as long as his torn body can take it.

I don't think Cesaro will at be at Wrestlemania this year. And they definitely don't think highly enough of Swagger to even put him in a Wrestlemania match like that. It would definitely be Rusev or Del Rio for the whole Country vs Country angle that WWE loves.

I'd like to see Angle come back, as a valet. Much like Stop said, he can barely walk. Let alone wrestle. He still possesses a ton of charisma, and him being someone's crutch to build them up would do wonders. Imagine a Swagger and Angle combo, talk about title worthy. He could always be a general manager, or a commentator as well. A wrestling role is just extremely slim for him at this point.

Can't see there being a hope in hell of him passing the required medical tests, unfortunately. Shame, as there's an abundance of talent on the roster right now - Cesaro, Bryan, Rollins, and Owens, just to name a few - with whom even at his age he could have incredible matches with.
