KURT ANGLE TO BE INDUCTED INTO WWE® HALL OF FAME

STAMFORD, Conn., January 16, 2017 – WWE (NYSE: WWE) announced today that Kurt Angle will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at a ceremony on Friday, March 31 at the Amway Center in Orlando as part of WrestleMania® Week.
A 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist and one of the most celebrated Superstars in WWE history, Kurt Angle made his WWE debut in 1999. Over the course of his illustrious career, he won every major Championship in WWE as well as the WCW® Championship and WWE King of The Ring®. Angle had memorable rivalries with WWE legends such as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin®, The Rock® and The Undertaker®.
"Kurt Angle's accomplishments both in the Olympics and WWE were extraordinary," said WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative Paul Levesque. "He was one of the most gifted athletes to ever enter the ring, and we are honored to welcome him into the WWE Hall of Fame."

Some of my all time favorite matches were Angle vs. Benoit...
and I remember the love triangle with Triple H and Stephanie
which provided some seriously funny moments and intense
matches.

Another good question is who will induct Kurt into the HoF? Brock Lesnar would be an interesting choice cuz they had a great rivalry and great matches and they respect the hell out of each other. But i dont see Brock making a big speech like that. I think Shane McMahon would be a fine possible choice.

His rivalry with Eddie Guerrero was awesome. Both extremely talented in the ring and could tell a good story too.

Stone Cold could induct him, the whole milk truck thing and winning his first title off of Stone Cold and all.

Great news, got to meet Kurt one time in early 2016 really nice guy. One my all time favourites. So happy he is in the Hall of Fame, but I am stilling pulling out for one more match in WWE or atleast him to be in 2k18

I missed his entiire WWE run, just made it past Survivor Series 1999 (Steph asked HHH for a divorce) and he has just turned up. His music works as heel and face though and you could interpret it both ways.

Kurt has legitimate problems with walking. No way should he be actively wrestling.
