Last night on iMPACT, Kurt got his rematch for the title after Hogan granted it to him. During the peak of the match, AJ has Kurt in the Ankle lock and Ref. Hebnar (surprise?) calls for the bell. Kurt flips out, spits on Hogan, says he quits and is going back to WWE. Video for those that need a visual....

Now, I'm not a fan of the reinacting the screw job. It's been done countless times. And the last time it was done, a great heel lost his title and ended up feuding with a ref. But if you are going to do the screw job, you got to go all the way. And Kurt did that. This is one of the times where iMPACT would have been great if it were live. But in the end, Kurt quits TNA, and there is questioning on Hogan's end on if he had anything to do about it.

What are your feelings on how this went down, and what do you think would happen next?

OMG I lol'd so hard when that happened just for the fact that TNA literally ripped a WWE signature off and can't get sued for it.

Classic TNA screwing WWE right here. I called Angle spitting at Hogan right before he did it.

They played it off WAY BETTER than Punk at Breaking Point.

I wasn't crazy about the whole screwjob thing. They could have come up with something so much better to keep the title on AJ. Kurt's reaction kind of redeemed the whole thing though. He was intense. Also, non-PG product FTW. Sure they bleeped him but Kurt cursed his head off.lol

Honestly it was a bit over the top imo but Angle's reaction=PRICELESS

TNA are proving once again, they are the copycats of all wrestling business.

It was obviously meant to be a low blow at Vince, but you know Vince was definitely laughing his ass off about it.
It really didn't fit the situation in the least, at least Kurt managed to salvage it.

Yeah, It felt to me that it was just meant to be a shot at Vince bringing Bret in imo there really was no reason to even do it tbh

What I'm wanting to see is how they explain it. Was the whole Flair "I hate Hogan" thing just an act and they're really siding together?

If it is Jarret/Old guys vs. Hogan/New Blood then they are already all f***ed up. IF this is true here are the teams so far.

Old Guys: Jarret, Foley, Angle, 3D (most likely)
New Blood: Hogan, Bishoff, Flair, Styles, Nash and Nastys (most likely)

Doesn't make alot of sense so I'm hoping this isn't the route they're going.

IMO, the way to go would have been maybe to have Hogan as the special enforcer in the match (not ref, just an extra set of eyes) and have Ric interfere with a low blow or something of that nature, and have Hogan scolding Ric for something at the time and turn a blind eye to the low blow. Then have AJ get the pin.
After the match when Angle questions Hogan he could have swore up and down he didn't see the low blow...yada yada

I thought it was really funny how he kept saying hes gonna go back to wwe. His throwing stuff after was cool but pretty corny to do the same exact thing over.

So Kurt can swear but the TNA fans can't. This is stupid and makes me sick they would steal this story from WWE. Wow. Pitiful. I understand they want to make it look real. Well come up with your own storyline. I wish there was storyline copy rite infringement.

I feel like I'm one of the only ones who is completely against this. Why rip off the WWE's most controversial storyline/w.e you wanna call it especially when they are reigniting the fire in it in the past few weeks?

How do you expect to get viewers like this? Any brand new WWE fan that tunes into TNA will say that it's a complete and utter rip off of WWE.

I'm still on the fence with the Hogan Era, there's been some good things but some incredibly shitty things and this is one of them.

just saw this today since I don't watch TNA. I actually tuned in just earlier and they showed highlights of styles vs angle match and I was like hmm this is some pretty good stuff. UNTIL I saw when the ref call for the bell and run out the ring togeather with aj and I thought to my self ohh no not the screw job. Then I saw Kurt spit on hogans face and I was like really they even copied the spit. Wow that moment I tuned oFf the tv.
