Knockout Tag Team Championships

What's with ODB and Eric Young? How come they aren't defending their Knockout Tag Team Championships? I like those belts and they can be used in a storyline with the other Knockouts that aren't challenging the Knockout champion. And why is Eric Young able to be a woman's champion...also who else likes the ideas of this championship? I like it, it's one of the things I liked about Impact Wrestling when I was researching it. Just wished they used them more right now though.

They were created when they had many more knockouts than they knew what to do with. Then 2010 happened, and the KO's division really took a hit, and they really cleaned house on the roster (or people left, or Daffney happened). That's why they were created, and since there really isn't any reason to keep them around at this point, they just made a big joke out of them.

Oh, and fuck Eric Young.

Much like Farooq, I like the idea of the KO Tag Titles. I also don't think EY (or any male wrestler) belongs anywhere near them. I think TNA needs to force ODB to defend those titles or vacate them and she should have to defend them while partnering with a Knockout, even if it's one of her choice (Hell, apparently Kharma's gone from WWE; bring back Awesome Kong and team her up with ODB). The other solution is for somebody in power to declare the illegality of a man holding half of the KO Tag titles and declare them vacant so that a tournament is required to award them. Basically, that would reboot the KO Tag Titles.
