King Booker never going back to Booker T?

In a recent interview to promote a show in Akron, Ohio, King Booker said that if he would have been drafted to ECW he would have quit the company. He said that being drafted to RAW was a great thing. Booker also said that he will never wrestle under Booker T again as he feels the King Booker name has really taken off and helped him get to the top.

OK I'm now wondering how this will play out after HHH beats him in the King of Kings match. I mean it makes no sense for Booker to still use it after that, not to mention he won the KOTR over a year ago, and they didn't even have the tournament this year. So it seems rather pointless to me.

He is right about King Booker being successful. He got the world title (in WWE) with the King gimmick but didn't get anything with Booker T so I guess he's right about that. I don't mind the King gimmick but Booker T is better ino.

Of course I know that it is all scripted, but with the king gimmick he kept on bragging about a victory that he didnt got because he was good or something while he lost just about every other match.

Thats too bad because the King Booker gimmick is stale as fuck. He honestly should go back to Booker T, the whole "King" gimmick in itself has become so cliche, and very boring to watch now.

The only reason he probably got pushed with the king gimmick is because they wanted to push the winner as a real king of the king and a king of the ring deserves the biggest title.

Plus saying he will never wrestle as Booker T isnt really his choice WWE can make him quit that gimmick and he cant use the king booker name anywere else because it will be trademarked.

Also saying he will never use booker t can be away to throw the people of the scent of any future storyline ending.

I thought it was hilarious when he broke character on RAW (purposely of course) "Put that crown on my dome, you dig?" just found it quite amusing. As for never seeing T again, I think he might have jumped the gun on that one, when he retires he's going to want to go out as the favorite character that everyone loved. I personally enjoy the "King" gimmick, but knowing that we'll might never see the "Sucka!" gimmick again greatly saddens me.

i feel that imo, he should go back to the Booker T gimmic because Booker was at his best when he fought for the WCW squad on SD! Booker has always been a good wrestler, and should try going back to that gimmick for a while, just to see where it goes

I will always know him as Booker T. The King Booker has pushed him but it's gonna suck not to see him as Booker T, I always thought the King gimmick was just a temporary.
