Kevin Steen update

Kevin Steen began filming promos and vignettes at the WWE Performance Center yesterday to build to his WWE NXT debut as Kevin Owens.

Steen will debut at the 12/11 December NXT special on the WWE Network or the NXT TV taping on 12/12. Both events are set for Full Sail Live in Winter Park, Florida.

I hope he does end up debuting on the next NXT special.

Owen is his kids name, don't over think name changes. If these guys are high profile hires, chances are pretty good, they havr say in what their names are going to be.

Good luck to him, he did just about everything he could on the indie scene. The name isn't great, but its not the most important thing.

None of the names are really great anyway. It's what you make of it. He'll do fine, but I question if he'll make it on the big stage.

Don't you watch the indies then? And that is just a question by the way...

I can see TAFKAKS struggling in WWE, but I do think he has something to offer them at least. Don't see him being at the top end indie guy level of Punk or Danielson who is a sure fire success, but certainly don't see him at the bottom fish out of water end either.

- This week's edition of WWE NXT has already aired in Australia and a vignette hyping the debut of the wrestler known as Kevin Steen was shown. The date 12/11/14 appears on the screen as it faded to black. December 11th, 2014 is the date of the NXT Takeover special on the WWE Network.

Yeah it was generic as hell, he called himself the future of wrestling like everyone else on nXt calls themselves.

Like Cork said, pretty basic but I can dig it. Looking forward to it though and to see whether they go the obvious route people are thinking they will and have him do something during the Sami/Neville match​
