Kerry Washington’s new Shonda Rhimes’ produced mid-season replacement series “Scandal†isn’t set to debut until late fall; however a preview of the hour long drama was made available to the press earlier today.


Loosely based on the life of former White House Aid Judy Smith, “Scandal†follows the lives of a group of attorneys who specialize in cleaning up the misdeeds of the Washington elite.


The show was formerly titled “Damage Control,†a name I prefer, and also co-stars Katie Lowes, Darby Stanchfield and “Stomp the Yard†cutie Columbus Short.
