At Full Gear, we saw the culmination of a 3-year storyline where Hangman Adam Page won the AEW World Championship against his former friend and tag team partner, Kenny Omega, in a genuinely feel-good moment. However, Adam Page was working with a dance partner not at 100%.
So Kenny Omega was working the match with only one good shoulder, which resulted in him being at the same strength as me being only able to lift the bar for a bench press. I know he mentioned before that he has had some injuries throughout his title reign, but I think now it may be a good sign that he should take some time to recharge. I'm hopeful they can at least give him most the time between now and Revolution to heal up. Kenny has worked hard during his run, and he can rest up or just do promos and storyline-related stuff out of the ring.
