After observers got over the initial shock of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West altering their no headlines friendship into a publicity obsessed romance juggernaut, the question became whether the musician would agree to appear on his new girlfriend’s popular reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Since he doesn’t exactly need the appearance fees, the bigger wonder was whether he’d want to be portrayed in that light. If you haven’t noticed, the hip-hop star tends to take himself very seriously, and reality television doesn’t always lend itself to that sincerity.
Well, as it turns out, Kanye’s self-preservation instinct is apparently no match for Kim’s please-please-please’s. According to E! Online, West’s appearance at Kourtney’s weekend baby shower was filmed for the show, and further, he’s agreed to be featured in several episodes during the upcoming season of the E! hit. Here’s what Kim had to say…
"I want to show my life. If we are having dinner and he does show up, I'm sure we're not going to go, 'Stop the cameras!'"
I’ve only passably kept up with the Kardashians’ television program in recent years, but I must admit, I am a bit curious to see the dynamic between Kim and Kanye. Sure, it might not be real life, but you can still tell a lot about a couple by watching two people have dinner.
There’s no word on what might happen if God forbid these two break-up mid-season, but should they decide to film that fight, I’m sure it would be a ratings bonanza. Not that I’m rooting for a particularly heinous split or anything…

Does anyone actually watch this crap?
