Kamal Shalorus vs. Ariel Sexton finalizes 10-bout 'ONE FC 14: War of Nations' lineup
A lightweight fight between Kamal Shalorus (8-3-2) and Ariel Sexton (8-2) is the final addition to the 10-bout lineup for March’s “ONE FC 14: War of Nations†lineup, officials today announced.
ONE FC 14 takes place March 14 at Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event’s main card, which includes a headliner of Brock Larson (37-7) vs. Nobutatsu Suzuki (10-1-2) for the promotion’s inaugural welterweight belt, streams in North America as an online pay-per-view ($9.99). Three free prelims also are available.
Shalorus vs. Sexton is part of the main card.
Shalorus, a former UFC and WEC fighter, recently made his ONE FC debut and snapped a three-fight losing skid. This past May at ONE FC 9, he posted a decision victory over Eduard Folayang. It was the 36-year-old Iranian’s first victory in three years, when he earned a split-decision victory over Bart Palaszewski at WEC 53.
The wrestler now meets ONE FC newcomer Sexton, who’s won three straight fights since a December 2008 loss to Derrick Noble at MFC 19. The Costa Rica-based Canadian is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt who owns six submissions in eight career wins.
