I noticed some obvious spam in the general wwe section just now and it made me think...
Since there isn't always a mod on at all times, wouldn't it be easier for mods to find the threads that should be closed if there is a tag for it? Like how we tag each other... You can make it like @close or something and it will notify the first mod on. Just a thought.
