What are your thoughts on it? We heard JR talking in his blog about his new role as more of an analyst now, instead of a play by play guy, and I think it's a good idea. When I heard rumours about it, I didn't think it'd go well, because I'm so used to JR as being a Play by Play guy, but Todd Grisham seems to be a version of Michael Cole, and is clearly suited for Play by Play. Havign JR fill an analyst role, without fulling being a colour guy, allows Grisham to become a full time play by play guy, and "groom" for the future, while keeping JR as a main voice as well.
What were/are your thoughts of JR and Grisham spliting the play by play, liek they are doing now on SD. Do you like it, or should JR have stayed as the full play by play guy?
I personally like it. I think Grisham and him can make a good team, and the nerdiness of Grisham makes a good play by play guy.

It's clear that JR is winding down his career. It's a shame cause he's been the voice of the WWE for the past decade and a bit and unarguably the greatest announcer in wrestling history. All good things come to an end though, and it's probably right that Grisham starts taking over because he's probably the best alternative right now, he's certainly no worse than Michael Cole (even though that's not saying a lot).
