WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has filed his latest blog on his official website jrsbarbq.com and has revealed that a John Cena vs The Undertaker match after WWE WrestleMania 28 is likely.

There are some in the WWE who believe that The Undertaker’s forthcoming Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania against Triple H will be Taker’s retirement farewell at the company and an awful lot of fans believe this too, though JR seems to suggest that “The Dead Man” has more life left in him yet.

When asked who he would like to see in Taker’s last match, JR replied with;

“Depends on when it will be and who’s hot. I don’t see that happening for a while but a Cena vs. Undertaker bout down the road is likely.”

Could a John Cena vs The Undertaker match headline WrestleMania 29? Interesting to consider, no?

JR also reveals in his latest blog post that he has plans to write a book;

“Yes, but I have no timeline. It might not be too popular in some circles if I tell it all. If something happens to me before I get around to it, my wife knows where all my years of notes are kept. Perhaps she can facilitate someone to handle the task.”

That he hasn’t heard anything from the WWE about him calling the Hell in a Cell match at WM 28 or Matt Bloom’s (aka Albert, A-Train) return to the company.

“I have no idea if that’s remotely true as it came to my attention via the internet. I’ve spoken to no one about that matter. Likely just another rumor.”

“I first heard about Matt Bloom perhaps returning to WWE online and I have zero talks with WWE or the talent about this rumor. The talent says that he isn’t. I don’t know but I signed Matt originally and hold him in high regard. Big, smart, and athletic. He would be a good ‘get’ if he’s interested.”

Unless they get Lesnar for WM 29 then this is definitely happening in my opinion.

I'd actually like to see that. Cena vs. Taker would definitely sell out. It's just interesting because they are in 2 different realms of the business. I've never even thought about them crossing paths.

Brock would be better though. :)

I'm up for Cena vs Taker at WM29 only if Taker has enough for a good match in him though as otherwise it could be a crappy end to a amazing career if he hasn't got enough in the tank!

Agreed on latter, but Rock vs Cena has always been the #1 dream feud for most.

Yeah, maybe would have been the other way round if you offered me a year ago. This crappy fued has ruined it a bit for me!

Taker always pulls it out when it matters, if he doesn't, Cena will carry him to a decent match. Even if it's not technically good, the emotion carries the match to high praise. HHH vs Taker last year is seen as a great match, but it was terrible. Just had lots of emotion and heart crunching moments, but in reality, it was two old men lying on the floor for hours getting "punched" and occasionally slammed. In comparison to Taker vs HBK it was like Khali vs Mason Ryan.

Haven't rewatched last years match as I loved it at the time and i suspected that if I rewatched it it wouldn't live up to the standard in my head!
