JR released a blog today in which he praises Daniel Bryan and CM Punk for their main event match at Over The Limit (I refuse to call that Cena match a main event, that was a clown show, a entertaining one but a clown show non the less.)

JR Likens CM Punk and D-Bry and their growing rivalry to stars like Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat and other legendary wrestlers with legendary rivalries between them. Also hinting at seeing them as this decades Rock and Austin. Two guys constantly pushing each other towards perfection.

The WWE Title bout was the overwhelming show stealer in Raleigh. @CMPunk vs. @WWEDanielBryan had one of the best bouts that I can recall seeing in years.

Was it better than WM28 Undertaker vs. HHH? Not in my view but it was damn close and considering the atmosphere at OTL compared to Miami that's a viable compliment. Plus, regarding Taker-HHH, I'm biased because I had the opportunity to call that one. Just being honest.

Punk vs. Bryan has the personality traits of some of the business great, mat rivalries where seemingly every time out a great match occurred.

He's right on everything but in my opinion it bettered HHH vs Taker, but that's irrelevant. It's hard comparing a match with no build to a match with too much build at WM.

Well, you're a bit biased considering Triple H is in it. Plus, try to keep in mind Bryan and Punk are in their early 30s. While Taker and HHH are in their early to mid-40s. The fact that they can still put on a great match is something in itself.

Thus, HHH/Taker > Bryan/Punk by 2 miles.

I agree with JR. That was an excellent match which I really enjoyed, and knowing that their feud will continue makes me happy.

I'm not bias at all. Being anti-bias is my gimmick.

Just because HHH is in it, it doesn't mean I didn't like it. If people remember I was marking hard in the end for HHH vs Taker. It had arguably the gayest and most annoying build but the match was insane and everything was perfect. But just because they're old - I'm not going to overrate it. Bryan/Punk was technically better in my opinion.
