Josh Barnett Wants To Fight Before End of the Year

Josh Barnett (31-6) is anxious for another fight, so he can avenge his lose earlier this year.With one fight left on his Strikeforce contract Barnett isn't certain that his next fight will happen under that company's name, but feels it is likely.


"I just want it," said Barnett. "I don't care where it happens, but I would absolutely assume it would be in Strikeforce."


Barnett looks to fight before the end of 2012 and knows there are plenty of potential candidates out there.


"I want to fight before the end of the year," said Barnett. "There's always someone who needs an a** beating."

Tim Syliva and Andrei Arlovski are fighting at a ONE FC show next weekend, could see Zuffa offering the winner of that fight a shot at Barnett.

Doubt Arlovski or Syliva get a call from Joe Silva.

If I was Zuffa I would send him Cheick Kongo, one as a punishment to Kongo for a shit fight, and another FU to Barnett. Ya'know cuz he talked some shit about UFC.

UGHHHH Arlovski would be the worst, his china chin already got smashed by everybody in Strikeforce.

Also : @ him and Sylvia fighting again, it's like the dark days of 2006 UFC heavyweights, we don't need a return to that.

Barnett should of been matched up with Mir instead of Cormier, should of gave Cormier a stand & bang merchant like Travis Browne or some shit.
