DREAM's upcoming New Year's Eve card has added Josh Barnett to the lineup, as the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix finalist will meet Hideki Suzuki in a pro wrestling bout. Barnett and Daniel Cormier are set to meet in 2012 to crown a winner in the Strikeforce tournament.

The card, which will be held in Saitama, Japan, will be televised in North America by HDNet. In the main event, Fedor Emelianenko will meet Satoshi Ishii. DREAM lightweight champion Shinya Aoki and DREAM featherweight champ Hiroyuki Takaya are also slated for the event.

Barnett has spent plenty of his career in wrestling matches, helping lift his level of popularity in Japan. "The Warmaster" is 31-5 in his MMA career and has not lost since a 2006 decision defeat at the hands of Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
