Kenny Florian has passed his first test in the featherweight division by defeating
Diego Nunes at the
UFC 131: "Dos Santos vs. Carwin" event, he will be granted the next crack at division champion
Jose Aldo.
The
promotion announced the booking today on Twitter as going down at
UFC 136 on Oct. 8 in Houston, Texas, adding a second title fight to the card.

Aldo will be making his second defense of his featherweight title, the first being a unanimous decision beatdown of
Mark Hominick back at
UFC 129 on April 30.
