The UFC 136 co-main event bout between UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and challenger Kenny Florian is expected to be a tough fight for Florian, and that was reflected in the betting line that opened last night for the fight. While not as wide as most of the upcoming UFC title fights, Aldo is still pegged as a solid favorite (or "overdog", as Tito Ortiz likes to say). Here's the line:

Aldo -270
Florian +210

Somewhat surprisingly, this is only the second time in Florian's last 11 fights that he's come in as the underdog. The only other time was against B.J. Penn at UFC 101, where the line was similar to this one. Aldo was a much bigger favorite in his last two bouts (against Mark Hominick and Manny Gamburyan respectively) and was actually a bigger favorite for his WEC 48 showdown with Urijah Faber as well, but only by a small amount compared to this line.
