Jordan Mein vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio slated for UFC on FOX 11
Two UFC welterweights seeking redemption have been added to April’s UFC on FOX 11 fight card.
UFC President Dana White confirmed that Canadian Jordan Mein (27-9 MMA, 1-1 UFC) will meet “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 2″ veteran Santiago Ponzinibbio(18-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at the April 19 event, which is set to take place at Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.
“Looks like a fantastic card shaping up,†Mein also tweeted. “Im geeked about this one!!â€
It’s unknown whether the bout will serve on the FOX-televised main card or prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

In his UFC debut, Mein stopped vet Dan Miller in the first round at UFC 158.
Ponzinibbio, a semifinalist on the second Brazilian season of “The Ultimate Fighter,†makes his second appearance after a debut setback to Ryan LaFlare at UFC Fight Night 32, which snapped a seven-fight regional win streak.
