At AEW's WrestleDream pay-per-view, Jon Moxley briefly stepped into an unfamiliar role.

Moxley joined in on commentary for the Blackpool Combat Club's matches at the event. An unfiltered Moxley was part of the announce team for Bryan Danielson vs. Zack Sabre Jr., Wheeler Yuta vs. Ricky Starks, and Claudio Castagnoli vs. Josh Barnett.

In an interview with SI FanNation, Moxley reflected on the experience.

“It was pretty fun,” Moxley said. “It’s actually a lot harder than you think. I remember doing it once or twice in WWE -- there’s guys on the headset, counting down, camera shots, video packages, and you don’t want to talk while anyone else is talking. There is a lot of traffic to navigate. Hopefully I didn’t make the other three guys’ lives more difficult.”

Moxley joked that commentary is something he's "completely unqualified" to do.

“I’ve been paid to star in a movie, and I’m not a real actor,” Moxley said. “I got paid to write a book and I’m not a real writer. I’m barely a real wrestler. So this is another thing that someone paid me to do that I am completely unqualified to do. I don’t know how I keep getting so lucky.”

Moxley wasn't in action at WrestleDream due to a concussion that he suffered at Dynamite Grand Slam on September 20. Moxley lost the AEW International Championship to Fenix that night. The title change wasn't originally supposed to happen, but Moxley called an audible after getting injured.

Moxley is making his return to the ring on Dynamite Title Tuesday next week. He's challenging Fenix in an International Championship rematch.

Don’t lie, Jon. You were in the masterpiece 12 Rounds 3: Lockdown, you’re definitely a real actor.
