UFC light heavyweight Jon “Bones†Jones (12-1)**is the scheduled guest for Wednesday’s edition of*AFTERNOON PRESS BOX. Darren and the boys will talk with Jones about his recent victory over “The Ultimate Fighter†season eight winner Ryan Bader (12-1) at UFC 126, as well as his upcoming title fight against Mauricio “Shogun†Rua (19-4) at UFC 128 on March 19.Because fellow Jackson’s MMA teammate Rashad Evans was injured and forced out of his UFC 128 title fight with “Shogunâ€, the UFC offered Jones the shot immediately after his complete domination and second round submission of Bader. Jones accepted.
Jones’ star has risen incredibly fast. At only 23-years-old, he is already being given an opportunity most fighters never achieve. He has only been fighting professionally since 2008, but has consistently proven himself by completely obliterating every one of his UFC opponents thus far.
