John Morrison wrestling for WWFX in Manila

Former WWE Superstar John Morrison has been booked for the WWFX Champion Showcase Tour in the Philippines this February. Morrison is booked under his real name, John Hennigan, and will be using that name on the independents.

Looks like he's just going to do Independent Wrestling now... Thoughts on this?

I would have prefered him to go to TNA but I guess this could be good for him. He is still in his prime, in my opinion so this could be a good way to work on his skills, maybe even become a champ there. I think we will see him again sometime in a bigger industry like WWE or TNA but I wouldn't mind seeing the guy in ROH either.

Wonder how much it cost them to book him, he was charging $5,500 I believe. But this is an international show.

I reckon he will do a bit of Indy work before deciding if he wants to go back to WWE or TNA.

He's a decent wrestler and has his good spots here and there, also his parkour works wonders for him but he is nothing special when it comes to wrestling.

If he decides to come back to the WWE, he needs some acting classes.

That video sure makes me want to never view the event. His true charisma shines through. I guess Morrison tried pulling his strings to be a big star in a company and he ends up with this? I sure hope he is proud of himself. Of course, he can still go to TNA. This probably isn't a long term thing.

I wanted JoMo in ROH so bad so I´m not happy at all that he´s wrestling for WWFX.

I don´t saw a feud in it. One TT match, one match when they faced off in a a title match and it was all over.

I don't get why you're upset over John Hennigan working in the Phillipines, my theory is the fact he's probably going to go around the world, do a few shows then decide if he wants to work in ROH or TNA.

He'd get paid more if he works for various promotions and many ex-WWE/TNA Stars are doing that. Sonjay Dutt and Adam Pearce are two guys I know who will be here in March but I've heard more are coming.

It's just better that way. Luke Gallows is coming back in May to work for like 3-4 months and he's looking to get a permanent visa to actually stay in Australia and wrestle.
