For years I've been a huge fan of Cena. I wasnt old enough to exactly see him debut, nor was I old enough to see him when he was the "Doctor of thuganomics" But I have seen every single video.
Once John Cena gave up the rap gimick and became a serious face he lost most of his older fans. From what I see/hear most of Johns fans are little kids. If John were to not bring back his rap gimick, but just become a heel, do you think he would have more older fans? Would you be his fan? I'm curious to see your opinions!

I honestly think he would gain a few, but not many. Casual wrestling fans that are adults would, but not the smarks. He has a very limited move set and is boring to watch in the ring.

The Only way I would root for Cena to win is if it's has last match period. For the last five years or so we've just had him crammed down our throats it's time for him to step aside and let the new faces carry the WWE. Last year proved that he could still be a draw with out having to be a champ or in the main event every time, it's time to let people who have a personality other then "superman wanna be" to actually carry the company.

He'd gain fans of course. They'd probably change his move-set a bit as well.
