When she hits the stage at MetLife Stadium to play “Bad Reputation” as Ronda Rousey enters for the main event of WrestleMania 35, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Joan Jett will become one of the biggest names to perform at a ‘Mania. That’s especially true in the subcategory of artists who’ve played wrestlers to the ring. I’d put her just behind Snoop Dogg and Motörhead myself, but your ranking may vary. She certainly belongs ahead of MGK and Flo Rida. And even this diehard Biker Taker mark will admit the former Runaway and current Blackheart ranks above Limp Bizkit.
Regardless, this is another sign WWE is pulling out all the stops for their historic, first-ever women’s main event at a WrestleMania.
Now let’s get Cherie Curie & Steve Aoki to do “Recognition” for Charlotte, and Lita Ford & The Mighty, Mighty Bosstones to play Becky out.
